Racine Dominican Eco Justice Center


Pragmatic Construction is providing pre-construction consultation, renovation of an existing 1912 farmhouse, and new construction of a 3,000 s.f. addition on a property in Racine, Wisconsin. The entire project, known as the Eco-Justice Center, is a sponsored ministry of the Racine Dominican Sisters. Founded in 2004, the Center is dedicated to environmental education and care of the Earth in a context of community, contemplation, creativity and cultavation. Pragmatic Construction is particularly excited to be working with project architect Bruce Zahn, AIA, St. Norbert College class of '64. Bruce has extensive experience in socially conscious and ecologically responsible design.

-Reuse of all original woodwork
-Reclaimed hardwood floors
-Nontoxic Finishes
